~ WE BELIEVE ~

  • that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is infallible, inerrant, and the sole and final authority for all matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine.
  • (Psalm 119:89; I Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21)

  • in the Lord Jesus Christ, His Deity, born of the Virgin Mary, making full atonement for sin by His sacrifice on the cross for all of humanity. Because of this, full provision is made for the salvation of mankind.
  • (Isaiah 7:14, 9:16, 53:1-2; Matthew: 1:18-25, Luke 1:26-35, John 1:1-5, 14-18, 10:1-18; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Hebrews 2:1-10, 9:11-28)

  • that man is a created being, made in the image and likeness of God. Through man's transgression and fall, sin entered into the world, depriving all of mankind to attain divine righteousness.
  • (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-24; Romans 3:10,23, 5:12-21; Ephesians 2:1-3)

  • that everyone who genuinely repents of their sins and accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord is pardoned, regenerated, justified and saved.
  • (Psalm 103:2-5; John 3:1-8; Acts 2:37-39, 3:19, 16:20-33, 17:28-30; Romans 6:3-10; Colossians 2:10-15)

  • in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This symbolizes the believer's identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
  • (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38-39, 8:36-39; 10:44-48; 19:1-6; Romans 6:3-10; Colossians 2:1-10)

  • in the infilling of the Holy Ghost and fire as a real experience at or subsequent to salvation, with the scriptural evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Holy Spirit gives the utterance.
  • Matthew 3:11; Luke 24:49; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8, 2:1-11,38-39, 8:14-17, 10:44-48; 19:1-7)

  • in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of the Lord as the expression of the true Christian faith. Without holiness, no man can see the Lord.
  • (Proverbs 3:1-7, Romans 12 1-2; 1 Corinthians 1:26-31; 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, 7:1; 2 Peter 3:11-18)

  • in divine healing for all the physical ills of the human body, wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. Healing is provided for through the work of the Cross and is available to every member of the Body of Christ today.
  • (Psalm 103:1-5; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 9:35; Mark 16:15-20; James 5:14-15)

  • in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the rapture of the Church. The angels said to Jesus' disciples, " ... this same Jesus, who was taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner, as you have seen Him go into Heaven." Jesus' coming is eminent. When He comes, " ... the dead in Christ will rise first; then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air."
  • (Acts 1:11; I Corinthians 15:51-58: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

  • in Hell and Eternal Retribution. One who physically dies in his/her sins without accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord will be hopelessly and forever lost in the lake of fire ... and therefore, will have no more opportunity of hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and receive salvation.
  • (1 Thessalonians 1:7; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:1-21, 20:1-15)

In Mark 10:13-16, our Lord Jesus Christ took infants up in His arms, put His hands on them, and BLESSED THEM. If the Head of the Church ministered to the babies, then we must minister to babies as well. Our Nursery Ministry cares for infants and ministers the biblical truth that God made them and loves them very much. Our purpose is to build up their faith in God as we pray and speak the Word of God over them.

The K.I.D.S. Place is our Pre-School Ministry that features praise and worship, offering time, puppets, fun activities, snacks, creative play times, and quality teaching from God's Word by caring teachers.

CLUB 15 is our Elementary Children's Ministry that consists of praise and worship, prayer requests, recognition of first-time visitors, offering time, Bible teaching, and altar call. Our services stay fresh and exciting to children by featuring object lessons and loads of fun to get kids on the move for God.

Never has there been more youth on the planet that today. And if we don't attract them with the tangible love of God and the Word of God, then the world will lure them with a counterfeit. The message doesn't change, but the methods do. Here at S.L.A.M., we ignite our teens with passion and purpose to impact their world through praise and worship, prayer, practical Bible teaching, games, and social functions. We also strive to connect them to godly friendships to bolster their stand for Jesus Christ.

God has a wonderful plan for your life that includes being connected to a local church. It provides leadership, instruction and protection.

"For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that body, being many, are one body: SO ALSO IS CHRIST. But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, AS IT HATH PLEASED HIM." 1 Corinthians 12:12,18 (KJV)

"Not giving up our meetings, as is the way of some, but keeping one another strong in faith; and all the more because you see the day coming near." Hebrews 10:25 (BEB)

"Those that be planted in the House of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God." Psalms 92:13 (KJV)
